Enabling privacy protection

When you begin using ZoneAlarm Pro, privacy protection is enabled only if you selected it during setup. If you didn't select it during setup, the privacy control settings in the Main tab of the Privacy panel are set to Off.

To enable privacy protection for your browser:

1. Go to the Main tab of the Privacy panel.
2. Move the sliders for Cookie Control and/or Ad Blocking to the level of protection you desire.

To enable privacy protection for programs other than your browser:

1. Go to the Programs tab in the Program Control panel.
2. In the Privacy column, click the program for which you want privacy protection, then choose Privacy On from the shortcut menu.
